Whitney and Dylan’s stationery came together during production week in Seattle. The suite was shaped at the same table where the tests, printing, and photos were happening. The paper became the constant early — 250–300 gsm matte board, thick enough for embossing, calm under the camera, reliable through the printer feed.
The handwriting was written with a black marker, scanned the next morning, and placed back into the layout as images. The scans kept every uneven stroke ending and the gentle bloom of ink into the paper fibers. It carried personality without needing added graphic elements.
This one felt like a statement I’d actually wear.”
— Whitney
The envelopes are heavy white stock, folded and sealed with a black sticker strip sized by eye during the shoot.
Brass props were polished to catch warm horizontal highlights in the photos.
The cards remained matte, allowing the lens to capture the shine and contrast.
Type was kept small, centered, and spaced like physical labels, letting the photograph deliver the mood.
Its visual identity emerged gradually through working with paper, blade passes, embossing depth, scanning, and lighting — all of which were found at one desk in Seattle.
